The "Design an Educational Game" document highlights the "handshake market" activity as a means for students to experience (while collecting data) aspects of the following economic concepts: free market equilibrium, consumer and producer surplus, allocative efficiency, government intervention, oligopoly, monopoly, free trade, and tariffs.
